Paris City Sights – Photo Essay

A photo essay from the beautiful and romantic streets in Paris.

We visited Paris for a long weekend and absolutely loved it. For me it was my first ever European city after visiting London and Edinburgh and it was everything I dreamed it would be.

The architecture, food and people made it one of the most memorable few days on our 2 and a half years of travel so far.

We wanted to share some of our favourite photos from that amazing time there. Enjoy!

Looking towards the Champs-Elysee at sunset.

View from the top of the Arc de Triomphe.

The stunning and beautiful Louvre (and the hordes of tourists). If you wish to avoid them you might want to consider pre-purchasing Paris attraction tickets.

Paris at dusk is brilliant with everyone coming out to enjoy the city.

Notre Dame Cathedral from the “lovers bridge”.

Napoleon’s body lies within Les Invalides Tombs.

If you ever visit Paris then make sure you visit the Eiffel Tower during the day and at night. When it is all lit up it really is magical.

Which of the above is your favourite photo?
