Lovely coo! I must admit that I didn’t spot a single one on my most rcent visit to Scotland. I did, however, see lots of lovely baby lambs from the train window as I travelled from Edinburgh to London. Thanks for sharing.

One of my most vivid memories of Scotland is riding on a train through the highlands, thrilled to spot shaggy cattle and shaggy little horses with their hair blowing in the wind. But Torontonians don’t need to go to Scotland to admire a shaggy “coo” – there are a couple you can get within touching distance (not recommended) in the zoo pens at High Park. The horns, the hair, the lovely coat and massive warm eyes – they are gorgeous (and huge)…
