Each Wednesday we post up a picture of something that we have found helps us imagine NOT being at work and helps us get to the weekend faster. It could be just a relaxing beach, a surfing location, a great snorkelling spot, a destination, well you get the idea.

After our hectic times in Istanbul enjoying the spice markets and then the very moving ANZAC Day commemorations on the Gallipoli Peninsula we needed to have a week of relaxation. And what better way to do that than cruising on the Mediterranean Sea off the coast of Turkey.
We are just a few days into our 8 day Busabout Sail Turkey cruise and loving it. The slow pace as we travel from cove to cove while we quench the suns heat with a swim or snorkel is nearly too relaxing. And we get to finish each day with a cold beer in hand while all our meals are prepared for us on the boat.
I know it’s a tough life but someone has to do it!
So todays weekly hump day photo is from the deck of our traditional Turkish sailing boat, called a Gulet, looking back across the fleet of Busabout Sail Turkey boats off the shoreline of St Nicholas Island as the sun set on another gorgeous day.

Been out on the gullet boats but only for the day. Last years, I was commissioned to write an article on the Turkish Rivera and Blue voyage routes. That is when my interest was sparked. Going to try and do a week at the end of summer. Carry on with the great posts about Turkey. I love reading what you are getting up to.
