Live Blogging – Stoke Travel Surf San Sebastian

| July 18, 2012 | 6 Comments

What could be better than chilling out during two weeks in summer than a surf camp at the beach in northwest Spain?

We are doing just that with the awesome team at Stoke Travel for their San Sebastian Surf Camp. Copious amounts of sun, surf, sand and sangria are lined up for us and we are going to be sharing it all live through Instagram, Twitter, Facebook and FourSquare.

Below you will find all our favourite photos and places we visit during our trip to help you plan your next trip to San Sebastian and the surrounding areas. Make sure you follow along with us via our hashtag on Twitter #fjStokeSurf.

If you have any tips, advice or questions for us then please make sure you send us a tweet, Facebook message or drop a comment below so that we can make the most of our trip as well.

  1. Laurence says:

Great idea :) I love the idea of a surf camp too – is the water warm down there?

  2. Stoked for you (couldn’t resist). The ISA surfing championships are going on in Nicaragua right now. Come on down!

  3. I’ve been to La Coruna Spain and met people who enjoyed surfing there. I love sports but I can’t see myself surfing. Part of it is that irrational fear of sharks. However, I love watching what these guys do.

Just a couple hours down the road from me, we have the biggest waves in the world and surfing is HUGE!

  4. Turtle says:

I hope you’re phone’s waterproof, if you’re going to be live tweeting the surfing!

  5. Love it! I second Turtle’s concerns for your wet phone, as I request you send twitpics from the surfboard when you catch a wave! :)

  6. Yeah, where are the photos of you guys surfing?!? Never done it, but I’ve always enjoyed photographing surfers in action.
