We have been wearing out our jandals (Kiwi slang for flip-flops) on our travel adventures around the world since 2009. I once had a very surreal moment slowly sailing out of Venice just before sunset on a cruise ship with all the classic buildings drifting by.

Loved Venice, we spent 3 days and nights there. Got lost many times at dead ends……..got a ride in gondelier from fish market across canal for couple euro compared with mega euros on the other hire ones. At least got a taste of it.
