  1. Love this idea. The photos are awesome. Rome is such a great city and I’m itching to go back now

    • We are loving it Caz. Absolutely shattered every single day from being on the go non-stop. But totally worth it. Looking forward to some downtime along the Amalfi Coast in a few days!

Love this idea, must try something like this!

    • It’s quite hard to convert all the likes we are getting on Instagram, Facebook and FourSquare into people visiting our actual page though. Really annoying and not quite sure how to change that. But all exposure is good exposure I guess :)

I am actually ashamed to say, that visiting Rome is not high on my list of things to do. Shame because when I look at your photos, it seems a great place to be

    • It’s definitely not for everyone but I found it strangely similar to Istanbul actually. Just too many damn tourists haha. Better to go more in the shoulder season like April I think!

  4. Look at all that gelato! Lovely photos, and great idea to live blog!

    • Cheers Christy. We are still working a few kinks out with the live blogging but it seems to be working for now. Have a few other things we wish we could incorporate but don’t have the time unfortunately to get them up on the site.

I love Italy! Looks like you’re having a great time. Nice photos!

  6. Angela says:

    Lovely :) Enjoy Rome ;)

  7. This was awesome…enjoyed tagging along!

  8. I love the idea. I’ll get my tech guy to work on that :)

  9. Adam says:

I was in Rome just a few days after you left! Hostelworld also put me up in a hostel but seems yours was much better! Sorry we missed each other :(

  10. Very interesting way to document your adventures. It was very helpful to have the map tour.

  11. Enjoyed your blog, guys! We were just in Rome in May, so it was nice to walk down memory lane. Rome in May was amazing – there were still a lot of tourists, but it was manageable, and the weather was hot, but tolerable. I hope you and your fans will also come to check out our travel website – we have some stories of Rome and Capri, with Venice coming soon. Thanks for the great memories! (Still missing the Gelato!)
